A Church of England vicar has been jailed for two and a half years after carrying out dozens of fake marriages allowing immigrants to live in the UK. The Rev Cannon was presiding over many wedding providing foreigners a chance to live in the UK illegally. Magumba who is a mother of six from Nigeria was one of the hopefuls wanting to live in the UK and she said she couldn’t believe how easy of a task it was to move into the country. She said no questions were asked to her and the ceremony was arranged and went ahead it was as simple as that for her.
He has done over 20 of these marriages from Nigerian men to European women who have flocked now all over the UK. A report minister said it will be very hard for us to track these people down now and the Vicar shall be punished for his actions.
Judge William Morris who punished the vicar said there was no excuse he did it over 28 times and there was simply no excuse. He has now had to reside to the UK.
